A recovery phrase is not a one-time login code. Anyone who obtains it may be able to restore control of the wallet.

Write and verify offline
Record each word in the right order. Avoid screenshots, cloud notes, email and messaging apps. Double-check spelling and legibility.

Store separately and review
Choose a private, durable location apart from your device credentials. Never disclose the phrase to someone claiming to be support.
